BOG & CYLA CANDIDATES --- Information about candidates for five openings on the State Bar's 23-member board of governors is available on the State Bar's Web site. Five seats also are open on the board of the California Young Lawyers Association.
CAREER SYMPOSIUM CANCELLED --- The CYLA Career Symposium scheduled for April 22 in Los Angeles has been cancelled. For information: cyla@calbar.ca.gov.
ETHICS SYMPOSIUM --- Santa Clara University School of Law is the site of the 10th Annual Statewide Annual Ethics Symposium on May 6.
ACHIEVING DIVERSITY --- Online registration is available for the State Bar's Spring Summit in San Jose, June 2-3. The conference will focus on increasing diversity in the legal profession.
NEW CONSUMER PAMPHLETS --- The State Bar has published three new pamphlets that address elder abuse, alternative dispute resolution and becoming a lawyer.
