Ed Butler's Judicial BenchMarks AA

Beginning with the October 2007 edition, a new dimension is added to our Bench Marks series of judicial profiles. Now, Ed Butler's popular column will include profiles of Bench Officers serving the Federal courts.

The first of the Federal series profiles Judge Victoria A. Phillips of the United States District Court, Riverside Division. For the series see sbcba.org/judges.

"BenchMarks" is intended to provide attorneys with a profile or vignette of our Judges and Commissioners. Please note that changes in assignment after the original Bar Bulletin publication are not included.

Initiated with the July/August 2003 issue of the Bar Bulletin, lead writer Ed Butler, Esq.‡ introduced 2003 Presiding Judge Welch, followed in September by Judge Peter Norell, 2004 Presiding Judge-elect.
